Paint your Pet like Van Gogh - 12/30 @130 - $60 per person - Adults, Teens 14+are welcome - Learning to create with pastels Mary Jane is an accomplished artist and educator in the Toledo area and we are so excited to be hosting a class for you all to come try! This course is a 3 hour session that will explore pastels to create a beautiful pet or animal with a Van Gogh style background. Templates will be provided for backgrounds and you will bring a picture of your pet for reference. All art supplies included. You will need to bring a source photo of any animal on 8.5” x 11” copy paper. Can be printed in black and white - as long as you have a color photo to referencel! Your pet's image should be large and centered on your paper. You will want your image to fill most of your paper. Remember, these images will be transferred to your pastel paper and this image is what you will use to create your pet's portrait. Mary Jane will help students draw or trace their pet on pastel paper during the first part of the of class, followed by a short demo of how to use pastel and plenty of one on one instruction. Assistance will be given to all students, as per your need. All students, regardless of skill level, leave this workshop with a very cute pastel portrait of their favorite furry or feathered friend. *Students are welcome to bring their own pastel supplies if they have some on hand, and would like MJ to teach them how to better use what they own. The Art Supply Depo carries a perfect set of Faber Castel soft pastels for a reasonable price that is excellent for this class if you want to purchase your own set. Refunds allowed with minimum 72 hours notice. Transferrable only without 72 hours notice. Minimum attendance required, subject to cancellations with full refunds. Mature teens and adults only. RSVP Required.

Cancellation Policy
