My Pet Project Day - Humane Society

Service Description

We are creating for a cause! Hosting a special EVENT, to raise funds for the Toledo Humane Society - our local rescue for cats/dogs. We will have an adoptable doggie from THS here for a meet and greet that day - to inspire and show you one of the many animals this will raise funds for. $15 from each project will be donated to the Toledo Humane Society. The feature project will be a choice of either a Pawprint design ($50 tile, 5X5) or a Dog/Cat garden stake design ($75, 6.5X5.5), which will be created using our Lil Chips of colored fused glass. $50-$75 per person. Plus, a local author will be on-site, Katie Maskey, who wrote a children's book all about her pet cat, Ferdinand with Extra Toes, who is actually also a rescue from THS. You can pick up a signed copy and meet the author. We will also be celebrating the 10th birthday of our shop dog, Moochy , who is also a rescue! It's going to be a fun-filled day full of scritches and fundraising fun for our favorite furry friends who are in need of a home. Reservations are recommended. Seating is limited. At the time of reservation, you will be asked to select your choice of design (either pawprint, dog or cat) but you won't pay for your projects until the date of the event. You can change your mind or add on additional projects, this is just a rough estimate to help us prepare materials. Lil' Chips are like an abstract puzzle that you design, and we melt together with a kiln. Using chips of colored fused glass, arrange a gazillion different patterns with your favorite colors. Ages 4 to Adult - RSVP recommended, walk-ins welcome if space available. Lil Chips Fused Glass Art (Mosaic style art w/ abstract glass chips) - Ages 4 to Adult - Approx. 60 mins (creating time will vary based on project size and design) - Allow 7 days for completed project to be ready for pick-up

Cancellation Policy
