Learn how to make a macrame plant hanger with local Toledo artist, Rachel Najarian. She works out of her home studio usually, creating all sorts of macrame pieces and has started her own small business called "Makin' it Rayna". She will be here at Copper Moon to share her talents and experience with you this July - 2 dates available. In this class you’ll be using a 7mm cotton cord, while learning how to make a square knot & spiral knot, the basics used in most macrame pieces. You will also learn how to make your own hook using the larks head knot & finished with a gathering knot. This plant hanger will hang approximately 35 inches long & hold a 5” terra cotta pot, which is included. This 2 hour adventure through macrame is beginner friendly, and all materials provided. Ages 13 and up. 2 sessions available: Wed, July 13th 6:30pm - 8:30pm Sat, July 16th 3:00pm - 5:00pm $50 per person. RSVP required. Refunds allowed with minimum 72 hours notice. Transferrable only without 72 hours notice. Minimum attendance required, subject to cancellations with full refunds. Ages 13 and up (adults should accompany). RSVP Required.
